Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal Imaging role utilizing your expertise as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a supportive healthcare environment. This contract position is ideal for professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm On Call required Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays until 6:00 pm No weekend rotation Holiday coverage only if a holiday falls within your regular shift No floating to other departments required
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Proficiency in performing a range of imaging procedures in nuclear medicine Registered or licensed as required by state and national regulatory bodies Demonstrated ability to provide accurate imaging while prioritizing patient safety Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patient care and collaborate within a clinical team Previous experience in a similar hospital or clinical setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic tests Administer radiopharmaceuticals and follow safety protocols to ensure optimal outcomes Produce clear, diagnostic-quality images for physician evaluation Accurately document patient information and procedure details in the electronic medical record system Provide patient education about procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding Collaborate with physicians and other team members for comprehensive patient care
