Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Join a dynamic healthcare setting as an Imaging Specialist focused on Nuclear Medicine. This contract opportunity serves an immediate need for skilled technologists experienced in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Leverage your expertise to provide outstanding patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Schedule:
8-hour Day Shifts, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00
PM On-Call Requirements:
On call Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00 PM No weekend rotation Must be available if a scheduled shift coincides with a holiday
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Proven experience in imaging and nuclear medicine procedures Familiarity with relevant safety and compliance protocols Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interaction Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Professional licensure or eligibility as required by the state
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform and analyze nuclear medicine imaging procedures following physician orders and regulatory guidelines Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals accurately and safely Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and communicate findings to radiologists or referring physicians Monitor equipment, report malfunctions, and assist with routine maintenance or quality control procedures Educate patients about procedures and provide a supportive experience during exams Maintain precise patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines This position offers a great opportunity to advance your skills in a well-structured clinical environment with a dedicated team.
