Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your career in nuclear medicine by providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services within a supportive healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers consistent weekday hours, opportunities for professional interaction, and a focus on quality patient care through precise imaging procedures.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm On-call coverage required Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00pm No weekend rotation Holiday work only if your shift coincides with a holiday
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N or NMTCB) Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging, including handling and administration of radiopharmaceuticals Current state licensure or eligibility as required for nuclear medicine technologists BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and respond professionally to call-back requirements Effective time-management and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety standards Ensure quality control and proper functioning of imaging equipment Accurately document patient records and imaging results Maintain a safe environment by following all infection prevention and radiation safety protocols Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and imaging professionals Adapt to department needs, including staying through call-back hours as needed Work in a patient-focused setting that values clinical excellence and technical expertise.
