Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in imaging and nuclear medicine to a vital role supporting patient care. This contract opportunity involves utilizing advanced nuclear medicine technology in a dynamic clinical environment, with a focus on delivering precise diagnostic procedures.
Schedule:
9-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week Shifts run Sunday through Wednesday On call and call back required on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00pm No weekend rotation Holiday coverage required only if a holiday falls on your scheduled shift
Desired Qualifications:
Certification and experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Demonstrated competence with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and protocols Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary team members Compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Role Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging systems to perform diagnostic scans Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals under established guidelines Ensure accurate acquisition and processing of imaging data for physician interpretation Monitor patient reactions and provide support, ensuring a safe environment throughout procedures Complete and document imaging procedures in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements Participate in any required call or callback duties during assigned days Adhere to any holiday schedule requirements as needed This position offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference by contributing your technical skills to a patient-centered setting, working alongside dedicated professionals.
