Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is sought for a contract role specializing in medical imaging. In this position, you'll utilize your expertise to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging results.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Every other weekend required
Qualifications:
Certification and active registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Proficiency in imaging techniques and modalities within nuclear medicine Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong attention to detail and technical acumen Proven ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Excellent communication and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine procedures and imaging studies as ordered Ensure accurate patient positioning, dose preparation, and radiation safety protocols Assess images for technical quality, clarity, and diagnostic value Prepare patients for procedures, providing education and ensuring comfort throughout Maintain clean and functional imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and facility standards for patient safety and confidentiality
