PET Technologist About City of Hope , City of Hope's mission is to make hope a reality for all touched by cancer and diabetes. City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and cancer treatment centers and outpatient facilities in the Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix areas.
The successful candidate:
Hours will be M-F 7am-3:30. This position will float to Zion location based on our patient volume/service needs Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for: Patient assessment relative to the performance of Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures Promotion of radiation safety Demonstration of safe and effective patient care Preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and the performance of scanning procedures for both in-patients and out-patients, working under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Radiologist. Preparation and administration of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and microspheres under the direction of a Board-Certified Radiologist.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of approved School of Nuclear Medicine A.R.R.T. registry in Nuclear Medicine or
N.M.T.C.B.
registry Licensed in the State of Illinois
BCLS CPR
