POSITION SUMMARY
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine procedures under the direction of the radiologist and nuclear medicine physician. The technologist applies established protocols and technical skills to provide safe, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. This role complies with As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles and all regulatory and safety requirements in the performance of nuclear medicine studies. QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine program with associated certificate or degree.
Licensure/Certification:
- IEMA License in Nuclear Medicine.
- ARRT(NM) or NMTCB registry required
- Maintains Basic Life support certification through the American Heart Association.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1) year Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
