1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 3-room inpatient/outpatient/ER unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and proficiency in cardiac, bone scan, and thyroid studies. Details 3-room Nuclear Medicine unit serving inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients Average of 13-15 patients per day Procedures include cardiac studies, bone scans, liver/spleen scans, lung scans, thyroid studies, tumor localization, and myocardial imaging Preferred procedure experience includes brain scans, renal flow, and SPECT Siemens equipment preferred Cerner EMR — experience required 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Hours may vary depending on workload Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility is required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience Current BLS certification (AHA and RQI accepted) ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required IN or Compact state license required if applicable Proficiency with IV starts and PACS Experience with Cerner EMR required 2 supervisor references required for consideration SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates (IN residents) are accepted for this Allied position Any current or former permanent or PRN employee of IU Health must have a 12-month gap before applying as a traveler Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health must take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — 90 days for out-of-state residents and 180 days for in-state residents Up to 5 days of RTO can be auto-approved Candidates are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
