Job Description

Join Our Team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Radiology / Cardiology Are you passionate about making a difference in patient care through advanced imaging and diagnostic procedures? We're seeking a dedicated and talented Nuclear Medicine Tech specializing in Radiology and Cardiology to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform a variety of adult and pediatric nuclear imaging procedures, including gastric emptying studies, HIUDA scans, Muga scans, bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation/perfusion scans, and pharmacological stress testing. You will be responsible for preparing and handling radioactive materials, maintaining sterile environments, managing peripheral IV starts, and adhering to all safety and isolation protocols. Collaboration is key—working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise and compassionate patient care.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of nuclear medicine experience, preferably in adult and cardiology settings Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or NMTCB certification (current and in-hand) Valid state license (or pending license approval) BLS certification Strong multitasking ability with excellent teamwork skills Knowledge of radiation safety, gamma camera operation, and radiopharmaceutical handling Ability to work rotating on-call basis, including weekends and major holidays Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with Cerner electronic health records Prior experience with gastric emptying, HIUDA, Muga, or other specialized scans Ability to work block schedules and flexible shift arrangements Familiarity with infection control procedures and adult cardiology imaging
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certification from ARRT or equivalent is a plus 1+ years of relevant nuclear medicine experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
