Line Medical is a leading nuclear medicine consulting firm specializing in diagnostic imaging and radiation safety. We work closely with healthcare institutions and private practices to optimize nuclear medicine operations and enhance patient care.
Job Description:
We are hiring a Nuclear Medicine Assistant to support daily operations in our nuclear cardiology department. This role is ideal for someone with a Bachelor's degree or a clinical background who wants to build a long-term career in nuclear medicine. For the right candidate, this position includes a pathway to become a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Eligible backgrounds include:
Bachelor of Science degree (any field) Sonographer Nurse (LPN/RN) Radiologic Technologist (RT)
Respiratory Therapist Occupational Therapist Physical Therapist Surgical Technologist Responsibilities:
Assist with daily nuclear medicine workflow and patient preparation Support technologists during imaging procedures Perform routine quality control and quality assurance tasks Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment Assist with documentation, inventory, and radiation safety practices Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or clinical certification/licensure in one of the fields listed above Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols Solid communication skills and comfort working in a clinical environment Interest in nuclear medicine and willingness to pursue advanced training
