What We're Looking For:
  • Current Louisiana License in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine protocols, radiopharmaceuticals, and radiation safety.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic procedures and maintain strict quality control standards.

What You Will Do:
Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic studies using established protocols while ensuring patient safety, imaging accuracy, and efficient workflow within a multidisciplinary team.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Performs nuclear medicine procedures according to unit-based standards of practice and protocols.
  • Positions patients, operates equipment, and produces high-quality diagnostic data.
  • Selects, prepares, and manages radiopharmaceuticals; maintains appropriate inventory.
  • Performs and documents daily quality control testing and maintains radiation safety compliance.
  • Explains procedures, reduces patient anxiety, and addresses adverse reactions appropriately.
  • Communicates effectively with staff, radiologists, and physicians to support care delivery.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
