As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in patient care by preparing and positioning individuals for nuclear medicine examinations. You will collaborate with an experienced clinical team to deliver vital imaging services that are central to accurate diagnoses and effective treatments. Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment—flexible scheduling for optimal work-life balance
Desired Qualifications:
ARRT (Nuclear) or NMTCB certification required Active, unrestricted state license or eligibility Proficiency in producing high-quality NM images Experience administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating relevant equipment Excellent communication skills for patient and family education Ability to mentor and support newer staff as a preceptor Commitment to patient safety standards and minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure
Responsibilities:
Arrange patients and ensure proper preparation for NM exams Calibrate and operate nuclear medicine equipment according to policy Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and effectively Educate patients and families before and after procedures Contribute to departmental safety and quality improvement initiatives Evaluate competency of other technologists as needed
