Job Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist | Theranostics Innovator Wanted Bethesda, MD | Outpatient Only | Brand New Clinic Opening Soon At United Theranostics , we're not your typical nuclear medicine clinic. We're bringing advanced molecular imaging and targeted radiopharmaceutical therapy together under one roof — and we're looking for a skilled Nuke Tech who's ready to be at the cutting edge of it. Our brand new Bethesda clinic is nearly complete and features state-of-the-art PET/CT and
SPECT/CT
scanners, dedicated theranostics treatment suites, and a patient-first design built from the ground up. This is your chance to walk into something new, help shape the culture, and do the most exciting work of your career — without the burnout of a hospital setting.

Outpatient only — no nights, no weekends, no on-call, Lower patient volume = more time for quality care, Hands-on theranostics experience (diagnostic AND therapeutic), Brand new facility — you help build it from scratch, Collaborative, physician-partnered care model
What You'll Do:
Perform SPECT-CT and PET-CT imaging and theranostics procedures Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals per safety protocols Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment to ensure peak performance Collaborate directly with physicians to interpret studies and develop personalized treatment plans Support patients throughout their entire care experience — safety, comfort, and clarity Maintain detailed records in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards Contribute to QA/QC activities and protocol optimization Stay current on advances in nuclear medicine and theranostics through ongoing education
What You Bring:
NMTCB or ARRT certification (required) CT certification — ARRT CT or
NMTCB CT
(required) Active state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (required) 5+ years of nuclear medicine experience Experience or strong interest in theranostics (preferred but a major plus) Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory standards Theranostics is one of the most rapidly evolving fields in oncology and nuclear medicine. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, manual dexterity and fine motor skills for operating imaging equipment and administering radiopharmaceuticals, ability to lift and position patents, with assistance, if needed.
