Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel An opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician to support nuclear stress testing and general nuclear medicine services. This contract role involves split hours between a Cardiology outpatient office in Portsmouth, NH, and a main campus in York, ME.
Location:
The position is based in Kennebunk, Maine, with work performed at two nearby sites—enhancing variety and experience between outpatient cardiac testing and general nuclear medicine studies. Kennebunk offers a charming community atmosphere with access to coastal recreation and excellent quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Perform various general nuclear medicine procedures as well as cardiac nuclear stress tests Administer IV insertions safely and competently Handle and store radioactive materials in compliance with state and regulatory guidelines Maintain American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine Accreditation and State of Maine radioactive materials license Document detailed patient and procedure records accurately Communicate effectively with cardiologists and radiologists to ensure quality exam outcomes Deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on safety and comfort
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience preferred Current CNMT licensure required BLS certification required Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedural guidelines Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with medical teams and patients
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
