Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel A nuclear medicine professional is needed to perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies, including cardiac nuclear stress testing. This contract role offers weekday hours split between two locations: an outpatient cardiology office in Portsmouth, NH, and the main medical campus in York, ME. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct general nuclear medicine exams and cardiac nuclear stress tests.
  • Perform IV insertions with care and proficiency.
  • Safely handle and store radioactive materials, adhering to all protocols.
  • Maintain American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine accreditation.
  • Uphold State of Maine radioactive materials licensing requirements.
  • Accurately document nuclear medicine study details.
  • Communicate effectively with cardiologists and radiologists to ensure quality imaging.
  • Provide exceptional patient care with professionalism and compassion.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of nuclear medicine experience preferred.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) licensure required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Commitment to regulatory compliance and high-quality patient service.
  • Familiarity with nuclear medicine technology and safety standards.
