Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel Join a leading healthcare team as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging. This travel position offers a structured Monday-Friday day shift schedule—no weekends and no on-call responsibilities—providing an ideal work-life balance. You will be scheduled alongside full-time staff at a facility equipped with state-of-the-art Siemens imaging technology.
Location:
Positioned in Scarborough, ME, this role requires flexibility to float between inpatient imaging at the main hospital in Portland, Maine (a brief 10-minute drive), and outpatient Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging services. The region offers a charming coastal lifestyle with access to cultural attractions, outdoor activities, and excellent community amenities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures, including nuclear cardiology and oncologic PET studies Operate and maintain Siemens imaging equipment Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care Float between inpatient and outpatient settings as required Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) certification required along with valid state licensure Minimum of 3 years experience in general nuclear medicine with a focus on nuclear cardiology and oncology PET imaging Comfort working with Siemens equipment and familiarity with electronic medical records (Epic and NMISH) Strong team player with self-motivation and patient-centered approach
Shift & Schedule:
Monday through Friday, day shift No weekends or call required 40 hours per week guaranteed
Dress Code & Work Environment:
