Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel Join a healthcare opportunity specializing in Nuclear Medicine Imaging in Wells, ME, offering a Monday through Friday schedule that splits time between a Cardiology outpatient office in Portsmouth, NH, and a main campus location in York, ME. This contract position offers a unique chance to apply your skills in both general and cardiac nuclear medicine testing, with work hours from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies, including general and cardiac stress tests Administer IV insertion for patient procedures Handle and store radioactive materials safely, adhering to regulatory standards Maintain American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine accreditation Uphold the State of Maine Radioactive Materials license requirements Ensure detailed and accurate documentation of all procedures Communicate effectively with Cardiologists and Radiologists to promote quality patient outcomes Deliver exceptional patient care throughout all interactions
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year nuclear medicine experience preferred Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) licensure required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory Strong communication and documentation skills Familiarity with safety protocols for radioactive materials is essential
