Job Description
Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Nuclear Medicine Technician with expertise in nuclear imaging to support both cardiac and general nuclear medicine services. This position involves working split hours between an outpatient cardiology office and a main hospital campus, providing vital imaging studies that contribute to patient diagnoses and care plans. Location The role is based in a scenic coastal city in Maine, known for its welcoming community, rich history, and beautiful waterfront views. Schedule / Hours
Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Responsibilities Perform a range of general nuclear medicine procedures as well as specialized cardiac nuclear stress tests Carry out IV insertions with precision and care Handle and store radioactive materials safely in compliance with regulatory standards Maintain accreditation with the American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine standards Keep an up-to-date State of Maine Radioactive Materials license Document all procedures and patient information meticulously Collaborate closely with Cardiologists and Radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging results Deliver exceptional patient care with clear communication and professionalism Qualifications / Desired Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred Certification by the CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Important Notes Accurate completion of timecards is essential for payroll processing.
