Job Description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you'll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment. Minimum Requirements An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology. State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine. CNMT licensure preferred. BLS certification. 1+ years nuclear medicine experience required; experience performing cardiac nuclear stress testing preferred. Experience with IV insertion and safe handling/storage of radioactive materials. Familiarity with maintaining American College of Radiology NM accreditation and state radioactive materials licensing requirements. Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate with cardiologists and radiologists. Preferred qualifications may include advanced cardiac nuclear experience and prior work in outpatient cardiology settings. Preferred items are not required.

Full time, five 8-hour shifts per week.
Work Location Details:
Split work between a main hospital campus in York, ME and an outpatient cardiology office in Portsmouth, NH for nuclear stress testing. Candidates must be willing to split hours and commute between sites as required. Location Highlights York, ME offers coastal New England charm with easy access to regional attractions. York Beach and Long Sands Beach are within the town and Portsmouth, NH is about a 20-25 minute drive offering dining and historic Prescott Park. The area is 30-40 minutes from Ogunquit and Perkins Cove, providing coastal scenery and art galleries, and roughly 60-70 minutes to the White Mountain National Forest for hiking and outdoor recreation. The locale fits a coastal, suburban lifestyle with nearby urban amenities in Portsmouth and seasonal waterfront activities along the Atlantic coast.
