The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, along with proficiency in cardiac imaging. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment committed to excellence in patient care and diagnostic evaluation. Duties Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Conduct diagnostic evaluations by capturing images that accurately represent the patient's physiological functions. Assist physicians in interpreting imaging results by providing detailed image analysis and reports. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining procedures clearly and addressing patient concerns. Maintain proper documentation of procedures, radiopharmaceuticals used, and equipment calibration records. Follow all safety guidelines related to radiation exposure and infection control standards in medical imaging. Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology, including new imaging techniques and equipment updates. Experience Proven experience working with nuclear medicine imaging modalities and other medical imaging techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic evaluation. Hands-on experience with aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols. Familiarity with the operation of nuclear medicine equipment and related software systems. Prior experience performing diagnostic assessments using nuclear medicine procedures is preferred. Certification or licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required.
