Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations using nuclear medicine procedures
  • Administer radio-pharmaceuticals and other medications as necessary
  • Operate imaging equipment
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
  • Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Follow aseptic technique and infection control protocols
Skills:
  • Proficient in performing nuclear medicine scans, including mostly MPI Stress test but also HIDA, MUGA, Bone scan, Thyroid scans.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret images and identify abnormalities
  • Familiarity with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate positioning of patients and precise imaging results
Pay:
$45.00
