Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, utilizing your expertise in imaging procedures to deliver exceptional patient care and diagnostic support. You will operate advanced Nuclear Medicine equipment, follow precise imaging orders, and contribute significantly to the success of a dedicated medical team.
Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in Nuclear Medicine procedures and equipment operation. Ability to transfer, position, and prepare patients for a variety of imaging examinations. Strong understanding of radiation safety measures and sterile technique protocols. Skilled in following detailed provider imaging orders and protocols. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet clinical deadlines. Effective communicator, able to interact respectfully with patients, colleagues, radiologists, and leadership.
Schedule:
Contract basis with schedule details to be discussed during the interview process.
Primary Responsibilities:
Educate and reassure patients throughout the Nuclear Medicine procedure. Accurately perform imaging studies, positioning and immobilizing patients as needed to ensure high-quality results. Coordinate examinations to promote timeliness, quality, and continuity of care. Prepare and administer radioisotopes per protocol, following all safety and handling procedures. Submit relevant images and clinical data to radiologists for interpretation. Maintain accurate records regarding radioisotope use, storage, and disposal in line with regulatory requirements. Actively support the maintenance and charging of department supplies. Ensure adherence to infection prevention and radiation safety policies at all times. Why Apply?
