1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a hospital-based nuclear medicine department, requiring ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Work in the nuclear medicine department of an acute care hospital with 373 licensed beds (344 acute, 29 inpatient rehab) Serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations General and cardiac nuclear imaging performed Department averages 7-10 studies per day Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week On-call every 3rd weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM-2:00 PM (8 hours) Equipment includes GE Infinia and GE Ventri gamma cameras

PACS:

Philips iSite No floating required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience, with most recent experience within the last year Registration by ARRT(N) or NMTCB required Current BLS certification required Active state license required, if applicable PET/CT experience preferred Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Radiology nursing support is available for cardiac imaging; guest services and transport support available for inpatient, observation, and ED patients Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) and up to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed Travelers are expected to cover 75% of holidays Black scrubs required Free parking available on-site in surface lots and parking decks Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Former permanent employees of any AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible
