Job Description
What We Offer Nuclear Medicine Technologist The Nuclear Medicine Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
Schedule:
4-10hr Shifts, Days, Monday -Friday Location:
Travel between 3 locations -Huntersville, Charlotte, Matthews Department:

2 Year/Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.Experience :
Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferred.Licensure/Certification:
Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT orNMTCB - RT
(N) or CNMT, required. Refer to the Life Support Training PolicyNH-HR-3096
for life support training requirement, required. Applicable state license, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills; capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms; working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment, able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served; has ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his / her age-specific needs.
