Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available in a dynamic healthcare environment located in Hickman, Nebraska. This contract opportunity involves working with advanced imaging equipment, including a GE Discovery 630 Dual Head (2015) and a
GE PET 8
(2005). The department supports a wide range of imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography, and interventional radiology, offering an engaging and varied clinical experience.Location Highlights:

Current BLS certification ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification required Valid driver's license with residence within a 50-mile radius Candidates must not hold full-time, part-time, or PRN roles with any facility affiliated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity Additional licenses such as ARRT RT(R), CT, or MR are advantageous but not mandatoryResponsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies using dedicated equipment and PET scanners Utilize EMR and PACS systems including Epic and McKesson for documentation and image management Collaborate across modalities for occasional float coverage, contingent on licensure beyond NM Uphold department policies including radiation safety with provided badges, and comply with fingernail and infection control standardsScheduling:
Position entails a structured schedule without weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements for nuclear medicine Rotating shifts, call, and weekend coverage apply to some other imaging modalities in the department, but not to NM Orientation spans 1-3 shifts for unit-specific trainingAdditional Notes:
Effective communication, adaptability, a positive attitude, and willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams are key to success in this setting.
