Job Description
Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A position for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is available in the Farmington, NH area, focusing on independent operation within the Nuclear Medicine (NM) Department. This contract role requires a professional skilled in managing Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures and associated responsibilities autonomously.
Responsibilities:
Perform Nuclear Medicine studies including 3-4 Stress Tests and 1-2 general NM studies weekly. Conduct Monthly Quality Control (QC) and Leak Tests. Participate in Quarterly Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) meetings. Operate Siemens E Gamma Camera and maintain standard NM Hot Lab equipment. Work primarily independently with occasional guidance as needed. Flexibility to staff 36 hours per week, typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off. No on-call duties required.Qualifications:
Certification and experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Ability to perform routine quality control and safety procedures. Comfortable working independently within the NM department. Preferably, knowledge of CT imaging is a strong advantage. Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment is beneficial.Location Insight:
