Full Time (30 Hours or More) Job Requirements and Properties Work Onsite Full Time Schedule Full Time Job Description . Sign on bonus and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates! Under the administrative direction of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, Radiation Safety Officer and the clinical direction of the Radiologists, performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the application of the radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Coordinates and schedules patients, both routinely and emergency procedures. When necessary, obtains additional clinical history from patient and ordering physician. Performs all requested procedures, setting the appropriate technical factors. Using the computer, enhances all areas of interest and duplicates all images to hard permanent copy. Informs Radiation Safety Officer of any leaks, spills, etc., and takes appropriate steps to isolate spills or leaks, protecting patient and personnel from further contamination.
Qualificaiton:
Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology or AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology and/or equivalent educational level. One-year experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred. Registration in Nuclear Medicine required within 1 year of hire date•
