Job Description
Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed to independently manage the Nuclear Medicine (NM) Department in Laconia, NH. This contract role requires a professional confident in performing a range of NM procedures and quality controls with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience handling monthly quality control (QC), leak tests, and participating in quarterly Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform NM Stress Tests (3-4 per week) and general NM studies (1-2 per week) accurately and efficiently Conduct monthly QC and leak tests to maintain safety and equipment standards Attend quarterly RSO meetings as required Operate and maintain Siemens E Gamma Camera and standard hot lab NM equipment Work independently managing the NM Department operationsDesired Qualifications:
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with strong independent work capability Familiarity with CT imaging is a significant advantage Experience with Siemens E Gamma Camera preferred Ability to meet NM departmental regulatory requirements (QC, leak tests, RSO meetings)Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM 36 hours per week (four 9-hour days) with Friday off No on-call responsibilitiesLocation Insight:
