Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract This opportunity is for an experienced professional specializing in nuclear medicine imaging. The role involves preparing patients for examinations, including the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals, and carefully monitoring patients' physical condition throughout the procedure. Additionally, the position requires overseeing the proper operation of imaging equipment and managing scan set-up to ensure accurate and safe diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for nuclear medicine imaging exams, ensuring comfort and safety. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients' physical condition throughout the imaging process, addressing any concerns promptly. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Set up scanning procedures accurately for diagnostic imaging. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care and support diagnosis.
Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging. Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling and safety procedures. Ability to monitor and respond to patient conditions during imaging exams. Familiarity with imaging equipment operation and image acquisition. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Relevant certifications and licensure as required.
