Job Description

Performs tests and examinations in the field of Nuclear Medicine. Obtains data used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Accurately records results of testing. Follows hospital and Nuclear Medicine policies and guidelines of the New York State Department of Health. Currently licensed by the State of New York as a Radiologic Technologist / Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Certification or registration by ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB required, BLS certification required, Bachelors degree desired. Manipulates mechanical and electrical equipment within the Nuclear Medicine Department necessitating good manual dexterity, visual accuracy and hand/eye coordination. Prepares and handles radiopharmaceuticals judiciously according to protocol to avoid any unnecessary radiation exposure.
Salary Range:
$36.86 - $60.51 Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to: overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
