Hour Shifts Hours:
07:30 AM•04:00 PM | 42.5 Hours/Week Possible Evening and Weekend On-Call Required We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract opportunity in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment performing nuclear medicine procedures and supporting high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging studies Administer and monitor radiopharmaceutical procedures as required Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment safely and efficiently Maintain accurate patient imaging records and documentation Assist with patient registration and imaging workflow processes Ensure compliance with radiation safety and patient protection standards Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Perform quality control procedures for imaging equipment Support training and workflow guidance for departmental staff as needed Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to concerns Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards Follow departmental protocols and imaging safety guidelines
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required Current NYS license/registration required ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required or board eligible Strong nuclear medicine imaging and radiation safety knowledge required Ability to work independently in acute care hospital setting required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Preferred:
EPIC EMR
experience preferred Synapse PACS experience preferred Siemens EVOSPECT, Philips Forte Camera, NMIS Hotlab System experience preferred For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
