Healthcare Professionals accepted) Nuclear Medicine - Are you looking for a new job? My name is Caroline and I'm a healthcare recruiter - I'm here to help! A state-of-the-art, non-profit, short term acute care facility located 1 hour east of Columbus is looking for a permanent Nuclear Medicine Technologist (multiple shifts available).
DESCRIPTION
  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals
  • Evaluates exams for diagnostic quality
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operates nuclear medicine and related medical equipment to complete a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Produces acceptable images by determining proper technical factors based on individual patients and|or procedures.
  • Orders, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals according to accepted practices.
  • Effectively uses computer systems (such as
HIS, RIS, PACS
) to process, access and distribute appropriate department and patient procedure information.
  • Performs other functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent) in nuclear medicine
  • Licensed by the State of Ohio in Nuclear Medicine
  • Competence in diagnostic & therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures performed at this facility
  • Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of computer software related to electronic imaging and clinical information management
  • CPR Certified
