Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety. Coordinate radio-pharmaceuticalsfor patient procedures. Explain the imaging procedure to patients Coordinate and participate in a variety of technical procedures, operate radiation detection and measurement instrumentation including stationary imaging devices, and scintillation gamma cameras. Perform Nuclear Cardiology studies including imaging acquisitionand processing and monitoring patient vital signs. Maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire a quality scan. Be able to demonstrateproficiency in operating the PACS Computer System. Maintain inventory of supplies and prepare and maintain records concerning radio-pharmaceuticalreceiving, dispensing and disposal.Job Requirements:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.) or be a graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be registry eligible. If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment and maintain registry while employed.
