Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for an Imaging professional skilled in Nuclear Medicine, with primary responsibilities as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The role is anticipated to cover Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm shifts, with no on-call requirements. The initial assignment is set for 6 weeks and may be extended based on facility needs and performance. An immediate start is preferred.
Key Qualifications:
Certification or registry in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT, NMTCB, or equivalent required) Proven experience performing nuclear medicine procedures in a clinical setting Familiarity with standard imaging protocols and safety standards Ability to prioritize and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment CT scanning capability is advantageous, though not mandatory Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine imaging studies as ordered by providers Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring both patient and staff safety Accurately document and report results using appropriate electronic health record systems Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed Follow established protocols for infection control, quality assurance, and departmental compliance Offer compassionate care to patients throughout their procedures
