Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced professional with expertise in nuclear medicine imaging. This position involves providing crucial diagnostic imaging services for a diverse patient population within a supportive clinical environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Five 8-hour shifts per week No on-call duties
Assignment Details:
6-week initial duration, with potential for ongoing extension Immediate start
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARDMS, NMTCB, or equivalent) Demonstrated proficiency in general nuclear medicine imaging procedures Experience with imaging equipment and quality control standards Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team CT imaging experience is beneficial, but not mandatory PET experience is not required
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols Ensure accurate patient positioning and proper functioning of imaging equipment Maintain detailed patient records and document exam results promptly Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient care Adhere to all safety guidelines and infection control policies Monitor and manage radioactive materials in compliance with regulatory standards
