Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide essential imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about delivering high-quality nuclear medicine studies with precision and care.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm 5x8 hour day shifts No on-call responsibilities
Assignment Details:
Initial duration of 6 weeks, with potential for extension Immediate start date available
Key Qualifications:
Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with relevant certification Proficient in performing a range of nuclear medicine procedures (excluding PET) Experience with CT scanning is desirable, though not required Comprehensive understanding of radiation safety standards and best practices Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient care and collaboration with healthcare teams Ability to adapt quickly in a busy imaging department
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct nuclear medicine imaging studies following physician orders and established protocols Operate imaging equipment and ensure optimal image quality Administer radioactive tracers and explain procedures to patients Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards within the department Document procedures, patient information, and results accurately in medical records Communicate effectively with radiologists and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care
