Job Description
Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel Charleston, SC stands as a coastal gem, blending historic charm and southern hospitality with vibrant local culture. This travel role in Imaging - Nuclear Medicine places you at the forefront of diagnostic excellence in one of the area's largest teaching hospitals. Here, you'll expand your professional horizons by collaborating with expert teams utilizing state-of-the-art Siemens PET/CT scanners within a Magnet- and Level I Trauma-designated facility. You'll refine your skills working with a busy, diverse patient population and further your resume with each new case and protocol implementation.
Schedule/Hours:
5x8 hour day shifts, with start times between 6:30 am and 10:00 am, ending between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm No holiday shifts PET/CT scans may occasionally be performed on Saturdays to address equipment issues or high demand No on-call requirementQualifications:
At least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience (first-time travelers welcomed) BLS certification NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), plus NMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or (CT) SCRQSA (State License) in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or CT Agency-provided radiation badge (required) Siemens equipment/scanner experience preferred Experience with Level I or II Trauma centers is a plusKey Responsibilities:
Perform PET/CT scans and nuclear medicine studies with technical precision Operate Siemens imaging equipment and document results in Epic Follow hospital safety and radiation protocols, ensuring patient and staff safety Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital settingBenefits & Perks:
