This assignment will provide invaluable additions to your resume, highlighting adaptability and breadth in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule/Hours:
5x8-hour day shifts, with start times varying between 6:30am - 10am and end times from 3pm - 7pm. No holidays required. No on-call. Occasional Saturdays possible for PET/CT scans if needed.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
At least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience. Experience in Level 1 or II trauma settings preferred. Proficiency with Siemens PET/CT equipment.
Required certifications:
BLS; NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N); NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT). Active SCRQSA state license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography. Radiation badge required—must be supplied by the traveler's agency. Comfortable with Epic charting. First-time travelers welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced PET/CT nuclear medicine examinations, ensuring accurate imaging for patient care. Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols, including hurricane season emergency assignments if applicable. Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary care teams in a high-acuity environment.
