Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel Situated in the charming town of Summerville, SC, this travel opportunity provides the perfect blend of professional experience and Southern hospitality. Professionally, this role in a prominent teaching hospital exposes you to advanced imaging practices, leadership styles, and trauma care approaches in a Magnet-recognized facility. You'll have the opportunity to broaden your skills with Siemens equipment, participate in a high-acuity environment, and work alongside talented professionals—expanding your clinical experience and boosting your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
5x8-hour day shifts Varying start times from 6:30am-10am, with end times varying from 3pm-7pm No holiday or on-call requirements Possible Saturday PETCT coverage if needed due to equipment or volume
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine or PET Technologist experience Will consider first-time travelers Experience with Siemens equipment preferred Background in Level 1 or 2 trauma environments is a bonus
Required Licenses/Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) SCRQSA (SC State License) in Nuclear Medicine/Radiology or Computed Tomography Must supply radiation badge
Role Duties:
Perform PET/CT scans and other nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and patient safety in mind Maintain documentation and data entry in Epic charting system Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a Level 1 trauma campus Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols, including hurricane response if applicable Provide excellent patient care and education
