Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine examinations and procedures to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This role prepares patients, administers radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of physician orders, operates imaging systems, produces quality diagnostic images, and ensures compliance with regulatory, safety and documentation requirements.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm This position includes rotational on-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays Experience Completion of 12-week departmental specific training required Education Associate degree from an accredited college or university and completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program required Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board required; OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Nuclear Medicine ARRT (N) Certification and registration required Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) license required. Basic Life Saver (BLS) Certification required
