Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Caliberr Staffing Houston, TX 77030 $42.75 - $55.00 an hour $42.75 - $55.00 an hour About the Role As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in patient care by performing high-quality diagnostic scans and managing radiopharmaceutical administration. You will contribute to positive clinical outcomes by ensuring precise imaging data and maintaining a safe, efficient environment for all patients. Responsibilities Execute complex Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging procedures to support accurate clinical diagnosis. Manage the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals with strict adherence to safety standards. Facilitate patient care through thorough assessments, IV access, and clear communication regarding imaging processes. Uphold ALARA radiation safety principles and rigorous infection control protocols to protect patients and staff. Maintain operational readiness of imaging suites by managing supplies and ensuring compliance with radioactive material regulations. Document imaging data and patient records with high precision to support the clinical team. Identify and communicate critical findings to medical staff to ensure timely patient intervention. Collaborate across clinical areas to provide consistent, high-quality diagnostic support. Required Skills Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related clinical discipline. Current ARRT or NMTCB professional certification. Valid state-specific CMRT licensure. Active CPR certification. Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in Nuclear Medicine or PET imaging environments. Preferred Skills Bachelor degree in a relevant healthcare field. Advanced PET imaging certification. Active ACLS, PALS, or PEARS life support certifications. Demonstrated proficiency in multi-modality imaging environments.
