- Posting may close at any time) Job Summary This position performs diagnostic PET procedures to support high‑quality patient care and accurate clinical decision‑making.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Current licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Utah. Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists ( ARRT ) as a R.T. (CT) ( ARRT ). Training and/or experience in the latest techniques of radiation safety, radiopharmaceutical preparation and computer processing techniques to perform patient examinations. Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists ( ARRT ) as a R.T. (CT) ( ARRT ) is required within one year of hire date.One of the following:
Nuclear Medicine Technician Certification. Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board ( NMTCB ) or ARRT Registration as Nuclear Medicine Technology R.T. (N)( ARRT ). Preferences Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills. Ability to provide care appropriate to the population served. Proficient in the use of the PACs system to retrieve and archive data. Performs all RIS functions (scheduling, completing, etc), as appropriate. Demonstrates the ability to properly identify and administer radiopharmaceuticals. Qualifications Required- While ARRT (N) or NMTCB ( CNMT ) are required immediately upon hire, the candidate will be required to obtain ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) within one (1) year of hire.
Licenses Required:
