00 Located in the charming area of Mechanicsville, VA, our mobile Nuclear Medicine PET Technologist position is an exciting opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Mechanicsville offers a blend of rich history and modern living, with easy access to attractions such as the Virginia Capital Trail, which is perfect for cycling enthusiasts wishing to explore the scenic Route 5. Additionally, the area boasts an impressive array of seasonal events and a tight-knit community atmosphere. As part of our advanced mobile unit, you will be responsible for performing PET scans and ensuring high-quality patient care. The mobile facility is noted for its state-of-the-art equipment and commitment to excellence in patient care and imaging services. This role will primarily involve traveling to various locations, offering you the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and diverse professional settings. Typical responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive diagnostic images. The position offers flexibility, allowing you to engage with several healthcare settings, each providing a unique learning experience, particularly in nuclear medicine.
Required Qualifications Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Positron Emission Tomography Experience:
2 years NMT-VA Certifications(At least one of the following):
CERT-NMTCB
  • CNMT, CERT-ARRT
  • N, BLS-AHA References:
    1 Reference in entire work history
  • CNMT
  • ARRT (N) Scanner
  • Siemens mCT20 Exams performed
  • only PSMA using Pylarify … no other PET exams and no Diagnostic CTs being performed. Hours
  • 7am-530pm Mon-Thurs Scanning 7-10 exam/day.
Always staffing 2 team members. Either Tech and Assistant or 2 Techs. System is a mobile coach, but fixed location without traveling.
