CRNA-Per Diem OB-24-Hour In-House Coverage-Mercy Medical Center Coachella Valley Anesthesia Merced, CA Job Details Full-time $4,000 a week 18 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification ACLS Certification Basic life support Full Job Description Position Summary Mercy Medical Center is seeking an experienced and dependable OB Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide 24-hour in-house obstetric anesthesia coverage in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. This role supports a dedicated Labor & Delivery team committed to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality maternal care. Schedule & Coverage Requirements 24-hour in-house coverage shifts from 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM CRNA must remain in-house for the duration of the shift Flexible per diem scheduling based on departmental needs Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for obstetric cases including labor analgesia and cesarean deliveries Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations Respond promptly to urgent and emergent OB anesthesia needs Collaborate closely with OB physicians, nursing staff, and perioperative teams Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care in compliance with hospital standards Qualifications Current certification as a CRNA Active California RN and APRN licensure Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred Prior OB anesthesia experience strongly preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in high-acuity settings What We Offer Competitive compensation at $4,000 per shift Flexible scheduling opportunities Supportive and collaborative OB and anesthesia team Professional work environment focused on patient-centered care To learn more about
