Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position at a hospital in California. This 120-day assignment begins on 10/06/2025, covering night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a .8 or 1.0 schedule (4-5 days per week). The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently on a variety of cases beyond just OR, including GI, OB, IR, Nuclear Medicine, CT, and MRI. This role requires adaptability, expertise in multiple areas, and the ability to manage diverse cases during night shifts. Epic experience is preferred, and there is potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide anesthesia care for a diverse range of cases, including but not limited to OR, GI, OB, IR, Nuclear Medicine, CT, and MRI Work independently during night shifts, managing various anesthesia needs across different departments Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care Adapt to different case types and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced hospital environment Utilize Epic electronic health record system effectively Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Additional Information:
Must be licensed to practice in California Epic experience preferred Comfortable with night shift work and diverse case load Strong communication and teamwork skills required Ability to work in a dynamic hospital setting essential to learn more!
