Your expertise in anesthesia administration, airway management, and patient monitoring will be essential to providing high-quality care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Duties Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures with precision and safety. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology evaluation, and medical history review to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. Manage airway control and ventilation during procedures, utilizing advanced airway management techniques. Monitor patients continuously throughout procedures using sophisticated EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic and other EHR (Electronic Health Record) platforms to document medical information accurately. Collaborate with surgical teams to develop individualized anesthesia strategies that align with patient needs and procedural requirements. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and medical documentation standards. Administer medications and injections responsibly while adhering to NCQA standards for pain management and patient safety protocols. Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and recovery monitoring, ensuring patients are stable before transfer or discharge. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with current licensure in the applicable state or region. Critical care experience in settings such as ICU or emergency departments is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in anesthesiology practices across geriatrics, pediatrics, and adult populations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to anesthesia care. Proficiency in airway management techniques and patient assessment skills essential for safe anesthesia delivery. Experience with hospital-based systems including Epic EMR/EHR platforms and other medical documentation tools. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient care aligned with NCQA standards.
