Patient sedation monitoring Full Job Description Overview CRNA needed for accredited outpatient ambulatory surgery center in Visalia. Coverage needed 7 total days per month. Hours approx. 8 AM to 3 PM. Perfect for part time or in addition to another position you might already have. Healthy, happy adult patients. Very pleasant work environment. Supportive staff. No billing will be required. Payment for services will be made in cash. Duties Assess patients preoperatively by reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and evaluating vital signs to determine anesthesia plans. Administer anesthesia using various techniques tailored to individual patient needs, including local, MAC, and general anesthesia. Monitor patient vital signs continuously during procedures, adjusting anesthesia levels as necessary to ensure stability and comfort. Manage airway interventions and ventilation support during surgeries or procedures requiring sedation. Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care, including pain management, patient monitoring during recovery, and discharge planning. Document all anesthesia procedures accurately in electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA and NCQA standards. Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with current licensure in California. Experience in anesthesia practice in outpatient settings. Strong background in airway management techniques, medication administration, pain control and patient monitoring protocols.
