Job Description
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) 161 Becks Woods Drive, Bear, DE 19701 Full-time Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic surgical team in our new Bear, Delaware location. The CRNA is responsible for providing anesthesia care in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals. The CRNA will administer anesthesia, monitor patients, and provide post-anesthesia care in alignment with the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-anesthesia assessments to determine the appropriate anesthesia plan based on patient history and surgical procedure. Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Monitor patients during anesthesia using advanced monitoring equipment and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless and efficient surgical care. Provide post-anesthesia care, including monitoring and managing patients in the recovery phase. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anesthesia care and patient responses. Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques, medications, and technologies. Perform other duties or projects as needed Required Education/Experience Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the NBCRNA. Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Delaware. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) recognition (as required by state). BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment. Commitment to patient safety and quality care. Preferred Education/Experience Minimum of two years of experience as a CRNA American Surgery Center (ASC) , a member of the United Medical family, is a multi-specialty surgery center focused on providing quality outpatient and same-day surgery for a variety of specialties.
