A flexible locum tenens opportunity is open for an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the central region of Georgia. This position provides a stable, ongoing schedule with daytime hours in a supportive and efficient inpatient environment. Practice Setting and Responsibilities Practice Setting :
Inpatient, anesthesia-focused with minimal patient contact and no outpatient care
Daily Caseload :
Approximately 6 patients per shift, in a 16-bed anesthesia department
Specialized Procedures :
General anesthesia, epidurals, regional anesthesia surgery, post-op pain management, extremity blocks, and spinal anesthesia
Case Types Excluded :
No cardiac, thoracic, complex orthopedic, or open heart anesthesia required
Support Staff :
Includes 1 RN and 1 PA/NP per shift; no supervision or teaching responsibilities
Requirements Licensure :
Must hold a valid Georgia state license or qualify under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
Certification :
Board eligibility or certification required
Additional Credentials :
ACLS and BLS :
Required Credentialing Timeframe :
Estimated 14 days for completion, with temporary privileges available
