Associate's degree Associate Degree in Nursing Full Job Description Description This on-site, contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide top-notch anesthesia care in a dynamic medical practice environment. As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in delivering anesthesia services, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will work with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, helping to implement best practices and contribute to quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures Monitor patient vital signs and manage sedation levels Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Evaluate patient response to anesthesia and make necessary adjustments Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Ensure compliance with safety protocols and organizational policies Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding anesthesia Requirements Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's degree preferred Current CRNA certification and valid state license Minimum of 2 years of experience in anesthesia administration Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and patient safety standards Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
Schedule:
Monday-Friday (7a-7p or 9a-9p) or Saturday & Sunday (7a-5:30p) No call requirement
Setting:
MOR or procedural suite
MOR Cases:
General, neuro, urology, orthopedics, gynecology, colorectal, ENT/OMFS, plastics, burn, thoracic, vascular, kidney transplants
Procedural Suite Cases:
GI, EP, IR, MRI, neuro, cardiology, etc.
Supervision:
1:3 in MOR, 1:3 or 1:4 in procedural suites
EMR:
Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
